Our Medical Team & Editorial Standards

MensMD is built around one principle: medical decisions belong to doctors, not to a storefront. Every consultation on our platform is conducted by an independent registered medical practitioner, and every piece of health content we publish is held to the standards described on this page.

Doctor-led by design

Consultations on MensMD are provided by independent registered medical practitioners (RMPs) who are licensed to practise medicine in India. Teleconsultations follow the framework set out in the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020, issued under the Indian Medical Council (Professional Conduct, Etiquette and Ethics) Regulations.

MensMD does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or make clinical decisions. Our role is to connect you with a qualified doctor, support the consultation with relevant health information and lab results from certified partner laboratories, and handle the logistics around it. Whether any treatment is appropriate for you — and which one — is always the independent judgment of the consulting doctor.

How we govern clinical quality

Licensed doctors

Every consultation is conducted by a registered medical practitioner whose medical registration is verified before they consult on the platform.

Evidence-based protocols

Program plans and clinical pathways are built on published clinical evidence and recognised medical guidelines — not on marketing trends.

Independent judgment

Doctors on the platform decide freely, based on your health alone. Their recommendations are never tied to sales targets or product incentives.

Continuous review

Clinical protocols are revisited as medical evidence evolves, so the care framework improves over time rather than standing still.

Our editorial & content standards

Health content on MensMD — program pages, guides, and articles — is educational. It is intended to help you understand men's health topics, not to replace a consultation with a doctor. We hold our content to the following commitments:

  • Medically reviewed. Health content is written to be reviewed by qualified medical professionals before and after publication.
  • Grounded in research. Where we make factual health claims, we cite published, peer-reviewed research or recognised clinical guidelines.
  • Dated and maintained. Health articles carry review dates and are re-reviewed periodically (our target is at least every 12 months) or sooner when evidence changes.
  • No miracle promises. We never claim that any product or program cures a condition or guarantees a result. If content on our site ever reads that way, we want to know — see the contact section below.

Prescription safety

Prescription treatments are never available to buy directly on MensMD. They can only be accessed after a consultation in which a registered medical practitioner evaluates your health history and decides that prescription treatment is appropriate for you. If the doctor issues a prescription, medicines are dispensed strictly against that prescription, in the quantities it specifies.

If a doctor determines that a treatment is not suitable — or that in-person examination or further testing is needed first — that judgment stands. No purchase flow on our platform can override it.

Doctor profiles — including qualifications and medical registration numbers — are being added to this page as our medical panel grows. We only publish profiles of practitioners who actually consult on MensMD, with their consent and verified credentials.
