Privacy Policy
MensMD is a doctor-led men's health platform. Your health information is among the most personal data there is, and we treat it that way. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who can see it, and the rights you have under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

1. Who we are and what this policy covers
This policy applies to mensmd.in and the services offered through it: doctor-led health programs, doctor consultations, at-home lab tests conducted through certified partner laboratories, the MensMD supplement shop, and delivery of orders across India. In DPDP Act terms, MensMD acts as the data fiduciary for the personal data described here.
By creating an account or using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If anything is unclear, write to us at support@mensmd.in before sharing your data.
2. Data we collect
Account data
Your name, mobile number and email address, used to create and secure your account and to sign you in.
Health information
Health assessments, intake forms, consultation notes and lab reports you share or generate through the platform — collected with your consent and used only for your care.
Order & payment data
Order history, delivery address and payment status. Payments are processed by secure payment providers — MensMD never stores your card numbers.
Device & usage data
Basic technical information such as device type, browser and pages visited, used in aggregate to keep the platform working well.
3. How we use your data
- To provide the services you request and operate your account.
- To enable doctor consultations, where a doctor reviews your health information and evaluates whether prescription treatment is appropriate for you.
- To build and adjust your personalised plan within our doctor-led programs.
- To fulfil orders — processing payments, arranging lab sample collection and delivering your purchases.
- To send service communications such as order updates, appointment reminders and report notifications.
We do not use your health information for advertising, and we do not send promotional messages about prescription products.
4. Health data is treated as sensitive
Your assessments, consultation notes and lab reports are handled under a strict need-to-know rule. They are shared only with the treating doctor and the certified partner laboratories involved in your care — for example, the laboratory processing your sample needs your name and the tests ordered. No one else at MensMD or outside it has routine access to your health records.
5. When we share data
- Courier partners receive only what delivery requires: your name, delivery address and contact number. Packaging is discreet and does not disclose the contents.
- Certified partner laboratories receive the details needed to collect your sample and process your tests, as described above.
- Secure payment providers handle your payment transaction directly; we receive confirmation of payment, not your card details.
- Legal requirements — we may disclose data where Indian law requires it, such as in response to a lawful order.
We never sell your personal data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone — and that includes your health information.
6. Consent and your rights under the DPDP Act
We collect health information only with your consent, given when you complete an assessment, book a consultation or order a lab test. Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you have the right to:
- Access — request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your personal data, subject to record-keeping obligations under law (see Retention below).
- Withdraw consent — withdraw your consent at any time; we will stop the related processing going forward.
- Grievance redressal — raise a complaint about how your data is handled and receive a timely response.
- Nominate — nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to.

7. How long we keep your data
We keep your personal data while your account is active. After you close your account or ask for erasure, we delete or anonymise your data except where law requires us to keep it — consultation and prescription records must be retained under applicable medical record-keeping rules, and invoices under tax law. Data kept for these reasons is stored securely and used for no other purpose.
8. How we protect your data
Your data is encrypted in transit, and access inside MensMD is restricted by role — health records are visible only to the clinical staff involved in your care. We review access controls regularly and require our partner laboratories, courier partners and payment providers to maintain appropriate safeguards for the limited data they handle.
9. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work — for example, to keep you signed in. For understanding how the site is used, we rely on privacy-respecting analytics with identifier and address masking, so usage patterns are measured in aggregate rather than tied to you as an individual.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the platform or by email before the changes take effect, and update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of MensMD after notice means you accept the updated policy.
11. Grievance officer
If you have a concern about how your personal data is handled, contact our grievance team. We acknowledge grievances promptly and aim to resolve them within the timelines prescribed under applicable law.
