Medical weight loss program in Delhi
If your waistline has moved faster than the number on the scale, you are far from alone in Delhi — surveys here consistently find abdominal obesity and high blood sugar running well ahead of what BMI alone would predict. That makes it a medical question, not a willpower question. A registered doctor, proper blood work at home, and a plan built on your own numbers is the sensible place to start.

Why It Matters Here
Weight and metabolic health in Delhi
Delhi’s numbers have moved quickly, and in the wrong direction. In NFHS-5 (2019–21), 38.0% of men aged 15–49 in the NCT were overweight or obese by BMI — up from 24.6% in NFHS-4 (2015–16) [1]. But the BMI figure is not even the full picture: 61.8% of Delhi men in the same age band carry a high-risk waist-to-hip ratio of 0.90 or above [1]. That gap between the two measures is the important part. Abdominal fat is what drives insulin resistance and cardiovascular risk, and in Delhi it is far more widespread than the overweight statistic alone suggests.
The downstream markers are already showing. NFHS-5 found 14.1% of Delhi men aged 15 and above had high or very high random blood sugar or were on diabetes medication, and 32.8% had elevated blood pressure or were on treatment for it [1]. These are single-visit screening measurements, not diagnoses — which is exactly why they argue for proper testing rather than panic. A man whose blood pressure and sugar have never been measured properly does not actually know which side of these numbers he is on.
Dedicated studies in the city point the same way, and further. In the CARRS study — a cohort of 5,365 Delhi adults aged 20 and above recruited in 2010–11 — 25.2% had diabetes and another 47.6% had prediabetes, the highest combined dysglycemia of the three South Asian cities studied [2]. Notably, Delhi adults with diabetes in that cohort had a mean BMI of just 26.7 — barely into the overweight range [2]. A localized East Delhi survey (DUDS, n=1,317) later found 18.3% diabetes prevalence, of which 7.5 percentage points were newly detected during the survey itself — men walking around with undiagnosed diabetes — and roughly every third household had at least one known case [3].
The practical takeaway for a Delhi man is simple: the scale and BMI can look reassuring while blood sugar, blood pressure and waist measurement tell a different story. That is why this program does not begin with a diet chart. It begins with an at-home lab panel and a consultation with a registered doctor, so every decision — including whether any prescription treatment is appropriate for you — rests on your actual metabolic numbers, made by a clinician, not a website.

Frequently asked questions
Do you do home sample collection in Delhi?
Yes. Certified partner laboratories collect your samples at your home or office across Delhi — serviceability for your exact pincode is confirmed when you book, and you choose a slot that suits your day. No clinic queues involved.
How fast is delivery in Delhi?
Orders to Delhi addresses typically arrive within 2–4 business days. Everything ships in plain, discreet packaging with no indication of the contents, and you can track the shipment from dispatch to your door.
My BMI is nearly normal but my waist has grown. Is it worth getting assessed?
Yes — in Delhi especially. NFHS-5 found 61.8% of Delhi men aged 15–49 carry a high-risk waist-to-hip ratio, far above the 38.0% who are overweight by BMI, and in the CARRS Delhi cohort adults with diabetes had a mean BMI of just 26.7. The assessment and lab panel look at your blood sugar, lipids, blood pressure and waist measurement — not BMI alone.
I have never been tested for diabetes. Does the program check this?
Yes. The baseline at-home lab panel includes blood sugar markers, which your doctor reviews with you in the consultation. That matters here: an East Delhi survey found that for every three known cases of diabetes, roughly two more were undiagnosed until people were tested. Screening is the only way to know.
Will I be prescribed weight-loss medication?
That is decided by a registered medical practitioner, never by the website. After reviewing your assessment, lab results and medical history in a teleconsultation, the doctor decides whether any prescription treatment is medically appropriate for you — and for many men the right plan involves no prescription at all.
Do I need to visit a clinic anywhere in Delhi?
No. The entire program runs online: the assessment, the doctor consultation (conducted as per the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020), lab collection at your home or office, and discreet delivery to your address. There are no clinic visits or waiting rooms.
